Opening soonFor independent makers and small brands
Get your products into stores without spending your evenings finding buyers and writing emails.
Shelf Space finds suitable retailers, researches their business and writes an introduction for each one.
Review every email before it goes, or switch on automatic sending and just answer the replies.

Every brand and business shown on this page is invented.
A shortlist of real stores, scored against what you make, with an introduction already written for each one.
Every score comes with the sources it was based on.

Hello,
I’m reaching out from Hartwell Clay. We make hand-thrown stoneware in small batches in Asheville.
You carry a small range of American makers, so I wondered whether you’re taking on new ones for your home goods and gift range.
Happy to send a line sheet if that would help.
Best,
Rosie
Shelf Space does the searching and the writing. You decide what gets sent.
What you make, who it suits, and where you would like to sell. It takes a few minutes, once.
Whichever kinds of business suit what you make, in the places you choose. You set the types, and you can add your own.
Public sources only. Every business is scored against your brand, and the sources are shown so you can check the reasoning yourself.
Written from that research, in your own words, and sent from your own mailbox. Read and approve each one, or switch on full automation and let them go by themselves.

Shelf Space works from your own products and your own description of a good buyer. Nothing here is fixed to one trade.
Not a fixed list. Add your own business types and Shelf Space searches for those instead.
Approve each email before it goes, or set a schedule and let Shelf Space find, research, write and send on its own.
Replies land in your own Gmail. One tap in Shelf Space and nothing else goes to that business.
Introductions go from your own Gmail, so replies come straight back to you.
Your brand, your research and your drafts belong to your account alone.
One tap adds anyone who says no to your do-not-contact list, and nothing ever goes to them again.
A business you have already written to is remembered, so it cannot be contacted again by accident in a later search.
No. By default you read and approve every email. Automatic sending is something you can choose to switch on later, and you can switch it off again at any time.
Public sources only: the stores’ own websites, maps listings and other published pages. Every score shows the sources it was based on, so you can check the reasoning.
Never. Your brand details, research and drafts belong to your account. We use a small number of trusted services to run Shelf Space, and every one of them is listed in our privacy policy.
It sends the introductions you approve, from your own address. That is the only permission it asks Google for: it cannot read your inbox. Replies come straight to you in Gmail, and you can disconnect it at any time.
Yes, at any time, from Settings. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and there is no notice period.
Wholesale takes time, and not every store will be right. Shelf Space writes one polite follow-up for you to approve. When someone answers or asks not to be contacted, one tap stops everything else to them, and you can see what happened so you can adjust who it looks for.
